~Barrier of Sin~ Difficulty in Casting: 5/10 Minimum Cast Speed: .5 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 3 minutes Incorporates: The Law of Malice, Francis’ Principle of Shielding, Ryu’s Principle of Celestial Energy Applicable by: Celestials First used by: Gabriel, Chapter 3 – Page 48 This technique’s origins are clouded in mystery and controversy. This barrier was discovered solely for the purpose of effectively blocking all manner of healing spells. It was likely created by the same dark Celestial guild that created the Law of Malice. The working of the spell is somewhat simple. The user must release a tremendous amount of white energy using Ryu’s Principle; he must also have a working understanding of the Law of Malice. What is difficult to master is the instantaneous inversion of the white energy into black energy. Because the Soul naturally only creates white energy, the Mind must assist in warping this energy. Helpful tips include: being angry, remembering an infuriating moment or something as easy as yelling. From scattered history archives, this spell’s first uses were indeed for malice, to prevent enemies from healing each other in times of battle. |
~Celestial Flare~ Difficulty in Casting: 3/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 20 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 1-2 days without a structure and approximately 5 days with a structure Incorporates: Ryu’s Principle of Celestial Energy and Tsuki’s Principle of Devotion Applicable by: Celestials First used by: Gabriel, Chapter 1 – Page 18 The purpose of this spell is to act as a beacon that can penetrate all forms of cloud cover. Though it may seem the light originates from an intense flame, no actual heat is produced. Thus making this spell non-combative. Most often the spell is used with some sort of magic structure, otherwise it’s very likely the flames will dissipate before their five-day duration date. This spell can not be cancelled but can be interrupted. In order to cast this spell one must first understand how this spell is to be used. Whether to charge a structure or simply shoot up into the sky must be decided first. After which the user must apply Ryu’s Principle and release a decent amount of white energy. This energy can then be transformed into giant spheres of firelight using Tsuki’s Principle. Depending on where the user decided to concentrate, the spheres the user produces will then fly up to their designated areas. Celestials often argue over the origin of this spell as it greatly resembles the Terrene spell “Enion’s Inferno”, which (unlike Celestial Flare) is a highly dangerous combative spell. |
~Copper Ring Solace~ Difficulty in Casting: 1/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 5 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 10 minutes Incorporates: Leym’s Principle of Healing Applicable by: Celestials and Sky Children First used by: Ryan, Chapter 1 – Page 12 A basic Celestial healing spell, also known as a healing aura. This spell is used for minor scratches, rashes and bruises. It is unable to restore any serious injuries and cannot replenish skin very well. Insignificant scars left from scratches are common if this spell is used. The spell can be cancelled should the user choose to do so. In order to use this spell, the user must apply Leym’s Principle and focus a small amount of gracious energy. This gracious energy will then take the shape of a copper ring, which can then be used on the injury. |
~Eye of Truth~ Difficulty in Casting: 7/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 10 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 1 minute Incorporates: *Secrets yet to be disclosed* Applicable by: Sky Children First used by: Alexandria, Chapter 2 – Page 30 Eye of truth, also known as the Third Divinity is a mysterious technique in which at the moment we know little about. However, one of its main uses is to distinguish among races by observing unique aura patterns. It is by no means harmful to the target but it will reveal their biological identity to the user. ~Gravity~ Difficulty in Casting: 6/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 2 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 5 minutes Incorporates: Asetheo’s Principle of Soul Force, Luna Maia’s Principle of Energy Construction, and the Law of Soul Gravitation Applicable by: Celestials and Sky Children First Used by: Gabriel, Chapter 1 – Page 11 An advanced Celestial spell learned in the final years of clerics in training. In order to use the spell effectively, first the user must apply Asetheo's Principle and release a decent amount of Soul Force. Then the user must apply Luna Maia's Principle and shape the energy into a large sphere. By applying the Law of Soul Gravitation, the energy sphere will exert a tremendous amount of downward pressure where the user chooses. The amount of force being released from the energy sphere is so great that it often becomes blurred and unstable. The spell itself is neither dangerous towards the user or the target, however the target will become immobilized by tremendous weight for a short period of time. Gravity can be cancelled should the user choose to do so. Once the spell is cast, full concentration is not necessary. It is widely believed that physical strength alone cannot break the gravitational force on the target. |
~Halo Of Feathers~ Difficulty in Casting: 5/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 1 minute Spell Duration: Approximately 5 minutes Incorporates: Ikkari’s Principle of Flight and the Law of Soul Gravitation Applicable by: Celestials and Sky Children First Used by: Gabriel, Chapter 2 – Page 23 An Advanced Celestial spell learned in the final years of clerics in training. The difficulty of this spell can vary depending on how large and what shape the target in question is. Typically, the larger or oddly shaped the target, the harder the spell. In order to use the spell, the user must be adept in Ikkari’s Principle of Flight. Ikkari’s Principle of Flight will create an image of feathers around the user’s head, thus the name of the spell. By combining this principle with the Law of Soul Gravitation, rather than amplifying the gravitational force, it decreases it. This allows for levitation to take place. With careful concentration, the user may now move the target with ease. |
~Spirit Chimes~ Difficulty in Casting: 2/10 Minimum Cast Speed: 5 seconds Spell Duration: Approximately 2 minutes Incorporates: Leym’s Principle of Healing Applicable by: Celestials and Sky Children First used by: Meredyth, Chapter 1 – Page 12 A basic Celestial healing spell, also known as a healing aura. Its main use is to help the target replenish a small amount of physical energy. It can also be used to treat very mild poisons. This spell is not often used for it is a bit soul inefficient. Though the danger to the user isn’t life threatening whatsoever, the user can feel considerably weak afterwards for a few minutes. If the user is especially in-tune with their soul, this lash back may not apply. The spell can be cancelled should the user choose to do so. To use the spell, the user must apply Leym’s Principle and focus a small amount of joyous energy. For the energy to become spirit chimes the user must then concentrate on a simple melody. It is noted that during the spell’s duration, musical notes cannot only be heard but can be seen as the chimes made of energy clink against each other. It is widely believed it is the notes that restore energy and treat poisons. |
