Laws and Principles

~Asetheo’s Principle of Soul Force~

Explained by the great Celestial philosopher, Asetheo, Soul force is a type of aggressive energy created by the Soul’s instability. According to Asetheo, the three parts of a Soul are constantly competing for dominance. This phenomenon only occurs when the Soul is within a vessel or body; otherwise the Soul is at peace. This energy can then be harnessed for Celestial attack spells.

~Francis’ Principle of Shielding~

The strong monk, Francis, developed the idea of a completely passive stance by protecting oneself with barriers. This principle allows for the shaping of white energy into energy fields. The complexities of these energy fields range from the very easy to some so difficult that more than one user must cast the spell in order to work. Furthermore, different skills/objects are blocked depending on additional principles and/or energies involved in the making of a barrier.

~Ikkari’s Principle of Flight~

Ikkari, the Empress of the Sky Children, documented the inner traits of animals used by Celestial energies. The power of the birds has come to be known as the Principle of Flight and is used in gravity altering spells.

~Law of Malice~

Stemming from a dark Celestial guild of the Middle Ages, this law was specifically designed to be combined with barrier spells. It was discovered that by inverting the energy used for barriers, the barrier would effectively block spells of a helpful nature: healing, curing, energy restoration, and so forth.

~Law of Soul Gravitation~

The Celestial philosopher, Gregory Newtown, discovered that when combined with some sort of Celestial Energy, gravity could act as a dependent variable in a spell. Thus, using this Law combined with another Principle, Celestials can now control the forces of gravity to some extent.

~Leym’s Principle of Healing~

Although healing has been with the Celestials nearing the beginning of their time, the 56th Holy Leader of the Fayth, Leym, was the first to officially document all types of beneficial energies released for healing. Thus when spell writers refer to a healing energy, they often include this Principle.

~Luna Maia’s Principle of Energy Construction~

The Priestess, Luna Maia, was the first to learn how to control Asetheo’s discovery. This is the only known technique for shaping and controlling Soul Force. All spells, defensive and offensive, that contain Soul Force must also apply this Principle in order to use it in any way. It is noted that one must be in an aggressive, but focused mindset in order to properly contain the awesome power of Soul Force.

~Ryu’s Principle of Celestial Energy~

The High Priest, Ryu, perfected the technique of harnessing the main source of a Celestial’s power, more commonly known as white energy. By focusing on inner peace, white energy can be extracted from the Soul and be used in a variety of helpful, benign spells.

~Tsuki’s Principle of Devotion~

Created by the 55th Holy Leader of the Fayth, the Principle of Devotion is a particular technique used for shaping white energy. It has been discovered that this energy can only be handled by someone who intends to use it to help another.
